Fitting a new control unitJ104
Fitting a new control unit -J104-
  WARNING
Severe shocks (e.g. falling or jolts) can damage the control unit. The control unit is useless and must not be used!
l  Clean the surfaces before fitting.

–  Insert the seals -A- a little way into the valve stems.
–  Place the control unit in the hydraulic unit taking care not to tilt it.
This pushes the seals into their final position.
–  Using the Torx screws provided, tighten the hydraulic unit and the control unit diagonally to the respective tightening torque in stages.
  Note
t  The same hydraulic unit should not be fitted with a new control unit more than twice, otherwise the elastic seal will not provide a suitable seal.
t  A control unit which has been fitted previously should not be fitted again.
