Removing
–  Remove the cover in the passenger compartment.
   
–  With the vehicle resting on its wheels, unscrew the shock absorber from the interior/boot.
–  Raise the vehicle, and fit the lower part of the vehicle close to the shock absorber to the hydraulic column jack -SAT 1040-.
–  Partially raise the bridge on the same side.

–  Extract the bolt -arrow- and the bolt securing the shock absorber to the rear axle.
–  Remove suspension strut from its housing.
  Note
Do not remove the hydraulic column jack -SAT 1040- until the new suspension strut is fitted.
