Installation
Installation
–  Insert the new seal in the servomotor with control unit
Before fitting, apply lubricant from the repair kit → Parts Catalogue to the servomotor pinion and seal.
  Caution
Never use any other type of lubricant!
   
–  Fit the servomotor with control unit to the steering casing and attach with new bolts -1- tightening diagonally.
–  Connect the sender cable connector to the power steering control unit - J500 -.
The connector should snap into place.
–  Fit the hydraulic pressure part → Chapter.
The spare part set includes, among other parts, a new hydraulic pressure part.

1)  Replace after each removal
2)  Before fitting, apply LOCTITE -5910- to the thread
–  Install steering box → Chapter.
–  Check wheel alignment → Chapter
–  Carry out the basic setting of the steering wheel angle sender -G85- using the „Guided fault finding“ of the Vehicle diagnosis testing and information system - VAS 505X-.
–  Carry out the basic setting of the steering using the „Guided fault finding“ of the Vehicle diagnosis testing and information system -VAS 505X-.
