4-position relay carrier: Removing and installing
Removal:
   
–  Disconnect battery . → Chapter
–  Remove storage compartment (driver side) → Rep. gr.68.
–  Unscrew bolts -1- for fuse holder -2-.
–  Detach fuse holder from central tube for dash panel.
–  Remove the wiring harness on the central pipe and put to the side.

–  Unscrew the nuts -arrows- and remove the onboard supply control unit -J519--Pos. 1- with cables attached.

–  Detach relays and control units from 4-position relay carrier.
–  Mark assignment of wires at bolt connections -2-, -3- and -5-.
–  Detach wires at bolt connections.
–  Unscrew bolt -1- and nut -4-.
–  Unclip the fuse holders at the 4-position relay carrier.
–  Detach relays and control units and then unclip appropriate relay carrier.
  Note
Exact assignment of contacts in 4-position relay carrier can be found in appropriate current flow diagram → Current flow diagrams, Electrical fault finding and Fitting locations.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order, noting the following:
–  After marking, connect the wires at screw connections -2-, -3- and -5-.
–  Connect battery. Fault rectification:
t  Battery in engine compartment → Anchor
–  Fit the shelf compartment on the driver's side → Rep. gr.68.
