Removing and installing parts of the ignition system
1 - Ignition lead
q   with shielded plug and spark-plug
2 - Spark plug, 20-30 Nm
q   use special spark plug wrench (e.g. -3122 B-) for removing and installing
q   Type and electrode spacing → BookletFabia
3 - 20 Nm
q   the torque influences the knock sensor function
4 - Knock sensor 2 -G66-*
q   sensor and connecting plug contacts are gold-plated
5 - Triple-pin plug and socket connector
q   contacts gold-plated
q   black for knock sensor 1 -G61-
q   brown for knock sensor 2 -G66-
6 - Knock sensor 1 -G61-*
q   sensor and connecting plug contacts are gold-plated
7 - Camshaft position sensor -G163 -*
q   check → Chapter
8 - Connecting plug
q   black, 3 pin
q   for camshaft position sensor -G163-
9 - Connecting plug
q   for ignition transformer
q   black, 4 pin
10 - Ignition transformer (N, N128)
q   with identification for ignition leads:
A = Cylinder 1
B = Cylinder 2
C = Cylinder 3
D = Cylinder 4
q   with power output stage - N122-
q   resistances → Fig.
11 - 10 Nm

   
Resistances of ignition coils
Specified value: 4...6 kΩ.
