The mixture adaptation is adaptive, i.e. differences between the engines (nozzle flow rate, compression, fuel pressure) are detected via the lambda control and compensated through the adaptation of the basic injection time programmed in the characteristic diagram. The injection time is extended or shortened until a mixture with X = 1 is achieved. The variation of the actual injection time of the basic injection time progammed in the characteristic diagram is specified in %. |
t
| Positive learned value (+ ... %): programmed basic injection time too short, actual injection time by .... % longer, so that X = 1 is achieved. |
t
| Negative learned value (+ ... %): programmed basic injection time too long, actual injection time by .... % shorter, so that X = 1 is achieved. |
