Cold Start Injector Connector

g. Disconnect the cold start injector connector.
h. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel filter.
i.

Remove the union bolt, two gaskets and cold start injector tube.

j.

On California models, disconnect the EGR gas temperature sensor.

k. Disconnect the EGR vacuum hoses from the air pipe and EGR vacuum modulator.
l.

Remove the nut, bolt, and intake chamber stay. 

m. On California & Canada models, disconnect the two water by-pass hoses from the EGR valve.

EGR Components

n. Remove the five nuts, EGR valve with pipes and two gaskets.

No. 1 Air Hose/Reed Valve

o. Disconnect the No. 1 air hose from the reed valve.

Intake Chamber Removal

p. Remove the six bolts, two nuts, air intake chamber and gasket.
