When replacing the transfer case assembly or transfer case actuator assembly on a 2007 or 2008 model year Tundra confirm if the vehicle is
produced prior to the Production Change Effective VINs in this TSB.
Is the vehicle produced AFTER the Production Change Effective VIN?

YES - This TSB does NOT apply - 4WD ECM replacement is NOT required.

NO - Go to step 2.

Confirm the 4WD ECM part number installed in the vehicle.
