This operation is described for an LHD vehicle with X 14 XE engine; for other versions, proceed analogously. Fluid leaks during removal of lines and hoses - place collecting basin underneath. Take care to ensure snag- and kink-free routing of hydraulic hoses and lines during installation; avoid chafing or contact with hot or rotating parts.
Remove, Disconnect
Detach expandable hose union nuts from pressure line or power steering hydraulic pump.
Loosen expandable hose (arrow) from fastening elements (remove fastening elements if necessary) and remove.
Install, Connect
Insert expandable hose into fastening elements.
If necessary: Install fastening elements on radiator crossmember - tightening torque 7 Nm/5 lbf. ft.
Install expandable hose union nuts on hydraulic pump and pressure line - tightening torque 28 Nm/20.5 lbf. ft.
Install, Connect
Charge and bleed hydraulic system - see operation "Hydraulic System, Charge and Bleed".
Remove, Disconnect 
Install, Connect
