Front and Rear Door, Detach and Reattach
Note: Only for
vehicles up to MY '99.5.
When replacing the doors, the lugs on the hinges must be ground
down level with the surface.
 Remove
|
Disconnect wiring harness plug.
1 Front door
- Door retaining strap fastening bolts
- Door hinge tension sleeves (KM-298)
|
|
2 Rear door
- Door retaining strap fastening bolts
- Door hinge tension sleeves (KM-298)
Note: Use
high-pressure grease (Part No. 90 510 336 / Catalogue No. 19 48
606) to lubricate the expansion pins.
|
When replacing the front doors of vehicles without side airbags
the front door moulded piece must be installed at the point
indicated.
