Electronic Cruise Control Electronic cruise control is available as optional equipment for the Astra-G with the following engine/transmission combinations:
• X 16 XEL MT, AT • X 18 XE1 MT, AT • X 20 XEV MT, AT • X 20 DTL MT, AT
The system for petrol engines is based on the cruise control in the Vectra-B. The control unit and actuator have been integrated into one unit. The control unit for the electronic cruise control is equipped with a self-diagnosis function that immediately deactivates the system if a malfunction occurs. This excludes the possibility of incorrect operation. In the X 20 DTL, the engine control unit features an integrated cruise control function. • Service The program memories codes can be used by TECH 2 to tune the control unit for the cruise control precisely to the relevant engine.
