Engine Vent Flange, Remove and Install

 Remove
For Z 20 LET engine: Remove air intake pipe (4) – see
illustration "Air Duct (Z 20 LET)".
Remove engine vent hose (3).
For Z 20 LET engine: Remove front coolant pipe (1) with engine
transport shackle from cylinder head and lay aside. Detach heat
shield (2) from exhaust manifold and remove.

Remove fastening bolts (1) and remove engine vent flange.
 Clean
Clean sealing surfaces.
Install
Insert new gasket (2) – note installation position,
channel (3) must point upwards to engine vent flange.
Attach engine vent flange to cylinder block – tightening
torque 25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft.

For Z 20 LET engine: Attach heat shield to exhaust manifold
– tightening torque 9 Nm / 6.6 lbf. ft. Attach front coolant
pipe with engine transport shackle to cylinder head –
tightening torque 20 Nm / 14.7 lbf. ft.
Install engine vent hose.
For Z 20 LET engine: Install air intake pipe – see
illustration "Air Duct (Z 20 LET)".
