X 12 XE DOHC 0 Petrol Engine  

The X 12 XE DOHC petrol engine is based on the X 10 XE DOHC petrol engine, familiar from the Corsa-B and described in the "New Technical Features, Model Year 97 1/2" brochure.  

The X 12 XE also belongs to the ECOTEC DOHC 0 engine series.  

The main difference between the two engines is the number of cylinders; the X 10 XE is a 3-cylinder engine while the X 12 XE is a 4-cylinder in-line engine.
