Lower Part of Oil Pan, Remove and Install
 Remove
Disconnect wiring harness plug for oxygen sensor – place
cable bunch out of way.
For Z 20 LET engine: Remove start-up catalytic converter from
exhaust manifold.
Remove front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter and centre
muffler.
Remove oil drain bolt – collect engine oil.

Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) for dynamic oil level
control, remove retaining ring (2).
Detach lower part of oil pan (3) from upper part of oil pan.

 Clean
Clean sealing surfaces and remove gasket residues.
Install
Insert plug connection of dynamic oil level control in upper
part of oil pan with new seal ring and fasten with retaining
ring.
Attach lower part of oil pan with new gasket and new screws to
upper part of oil pan – tightening torque 8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft. +
30°.
Attach oil drain bolt to lower part of oil pan with new seal
ring – tightening torque 10 Nm / 7.4 lbf. ft.
Connect wiring harness plug for dynamic oil level control.
Install front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter and centre
muffler.
Attach front exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold – tightening
torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
For Z 20 LET engine: Attach starting catalytic converter with
clamp and new gasket to exhaust manifold – tightening torque
8 Nm / 6 lbf. ft.
Connect wiring harness plug for oxygen sensor – ensure
correct cable routing.
Fill engine oil up to "MAX" on dipstick.
