Injectors, Remove and Install (X 16 SZR)
Caution
Observe safety and local regulations. Fuel system is under
pressure. Remove fuel pump relay – see operation "Fuel Pump
Relay, Remove and Install". Start engine at least 5 sec. –
fuel pressure reduction.

 Remove
Remove air intake cover – see illustration "Air Ducts (X
16 SZR)". Disconnect wiring harness plugs (1) from injector (3).
Remove bracket (2) and carefully pull injector out from throttle
valve injection housing – note installation position.

Install
|
Insert injector in throttle valve injection housing with new
seal rings (1) and secure with bracket – note installation
position. Connect wiring harness plug to injector.
Install air intake cover – see illustration "Air Ducts (X
16 SZR)". Install fuel pump relay – see operation "Fuel Pump
Relay, Remove and Install".
