Throttle Body, Remove and Install (Z 16 SE)
 Remove
|
Open coolant drain bolt – collect escaping coolant.
Disconnect wiring harness plug (2) from intake air temperature
sensor.
Detach wiring harness plug (1) from tank vent valve and detach
tank vent valve from air cleaner housing.
Remove air cleaner housing and air intake hose – see
illustration "Air Cleaner Housing (Z 16 SE)".
Remove hose for tank vent valve (3) from throttle body.

Detach coolant hoses (3) from throttle body and lay aside.
Detach engine vent hose (2) from throttle body.
Disconnect wiring harness plug (4) from throttle body.
Detach throttle body from intake manifold (1).
 Clean
Clean sealing surfaces and remove gasket residues.
Install
Attach throttle body to intake manifold- tightening torque 9 Nm
/6.5 lbf. ft.
Attach wiring harness plug to throttle body.

Attach engine vent hose to throttle body.
Attach coolant hoses to throttle body.
Attach tank vent valve hose to throttle body.
Attach air cleaner housing and air intake hose – see
illustration "Air Cleaner Housing (Z 16 SE)".
Attach tank vent valve to air cleaner housing and connect wiring
harness plug on tank vent valve.
Connect intake air temperature sensor wiring harness plug
Close coolant drain bolt.
Inspect
Charge cooling system – see operations "Cooling System,
Charge and Bleed" and "Cooling System, Check for Leaks".
