Fuel Pressure, Check
Caution
Fuel escapes. Observe safety regulations and national
legislation.
For Z 20 LET engine: Remove air intake pipe – see
illustration "Air Duct (Z 20 LET)".
Install

Connect Pressure Tester KM-J-34730-91 (2) to testing port (1).
Start engine and bleed pressure tester – idle. Collect
escaping fuel in suitable container.

Inspect
Check fuel pressure Start engine and allow to run at idle speed.
Nominal value – see relevant Checking Procedures. Apply 0.5
bar to fuel pressure regulator using Pressure and Vacuum Pump
MKM-667. Nominal value – see relevant Checking
Procedures.
 Remove
Remove Pressure Tester KM-J-34730-91 from testing port.
Install
For Z 20 LET engine: Install air intake pipe – see
illustration "Air Duct (Z 20 LET)".
