Attach Bracket KM-910 (2) to transmission. Attach assembly to Bracket KM-113-2 (1) and lock horizontally.

Remove converter – see operation "Converter and/or Fluid Pump Seal Ring, Replace (AF 13-II/AF 17/AF 20/AF 22)".

Remove converter housing from transmission housing – 15 fastening bolts (arrows).

Remove differential from transmission housing.

  Inspect

Check both tapered roller bearing differentials and replace if necessary – see operation "Differential, Disassemble and Assemble (AF 13-II)".

Remove 3 gaskets (arrows) and clean sealing surfaces.

Caution

No gasket residue may fall into transmission housing.

  Install

Insert differential (1) into transmission housing.

Insert 3 gaskets (1) and (2) apply sealing compound.

Attach converter housing to transmission housing (15 fastening bolts) – tightening torque 25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft. Insert fastening bolts (3) with locking compound.

Install converter – see operation "Converter and/or Fluid Pump Seal Ring, Replace (AF 13-II/AF 17/AF 20/AF 22)".

Remove assembly from Bracket KM-113-2 and Bracket KM-910 from transmission.

Install transmission – see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install (AF 13-II/AF 17)".
