Piston Brake Band B1, Remove and Install (AF 13-II)

Remove

Remove transmission – see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install (AF 13-II/AF 17)".

Attach Bracket KM-910 to transmission. Attach assembly to Bracket KM-113-2 and lock horizontally.

Remove retaining ring (1) for brake band piston cover B1 with retaining ring pliers.

Remove cover for (2) brake band piston B1.

Remove retaining ring (3) for brake band piston B1 with retaining ring pliers.

Remove brake band piston B1 (5) with spring (4) from transmission housing.

Caution

Fluid escapes Place collecting basin underneath.

Install

Replace O-rings (3) for brake band piston B1 (1) and coat with assembly grease.

Install brake band piston B1 with spring (2) in transmission housing and secure with new retaining ring (6).

Install brake band piston cover (4) B1 with new O-ring (5) in transmission housing and secure with new retaining ring (7).

Remove bracket assembly from KM-113-2. Attach Bracket KM-910 to transmission.

Install transmission – see operation "Transmission, Remove and Install (AF 13-II/AF 17)".
