Remove inner ring for freewheel clutch F1 (1).

Remove thrust washer (2), friction washer (3) and thrust bearing assembly (4).

Remove retaining ring (5) for freewheel F1 with suitable screwdriver.

Remove bearing rings (6) with freewheel F1 (7) and thrust washer (8).

Remove retaining ring (1) with ring pliers. Remove flange (2) and O-ring (3).

Caution

Note installation position of flange (2). O-ring (3) – note installation position.

  Assemble

Insert O-ring (3), flange (2) and new retaining ring (1) – press retaining ring into groove with screwdriver (4).

Caution

Ensure that retaining ring is correctly seated in groove.

Thrust washer (3). Insert overrunning clutch F1 (2) in bearing rings (1).

Caution

Collar for overrunning clutch faces upwards.

  Install

Connect new retaining ring (4) to freewheel F1.

Install thrust bearing assembly (7), friction washer (6) with chamfered edge up and thrust washer (5).

Install inner ring (8) for free wheel F1 in free wheel clutch.

  Inspect

Counter clockwise (arrow) - freewheel free. Clockwise - freewheel locked.
