Warning "Check oil-Level" appears too early although the oil-level is correct.

 

Cause:

Sensor "Oil-Level" responds too early.

Remedy:

In case of complaint flash improved software on MID. Improved software is available on TIS-CD-ROM 52.

More information for MID programming-refer to the appropriate checking procedure.

If the warning appears again after the programming, a mechanical defect must be assumed. In this case you have to check engine wiring harness, plugs and oil-level sensor.
