Fuel System|Specifications > < Replace fuel return line of high pressure pump

Replace tank flap release pull and lock

Important:   In the presence of fuel vapours or escaping fuel - observe safety regulations and national legislation. Store drained fuel in a suitable, sealable container.

  Remove

1.   Open rear flap
2.   Unclip release pull on servomotor (1)
•   Open assembly flap
•   Unclip bracket with release pull in direction of arrow

3.   Open tank flap
4.   Detach stop with release pull
•   Unscrew 2 x bolts (1)

5.   Detach release pull from tank flap stop

  Install

6.   Attach release pull to tank flap stop
7.   Attach stop with release pull
•   Tighten 2x bolts 1 Nm
8.   Close tank flap
9.   Clip in release pull on servomotor
•   Clip in bracket with release pull
•   Close assembly flap
10.   Close rear flap
