Replace fuel return line of high pressure pump
(Diesel engines)
Important: In the
presence of fuel vapours or escaping fuel - observe safety
regulations and national legislation. Store drained fuel in a
suitable, sealable container.
Note: Replace fuel
return line of damper housing or accumulator
 Remove

Remove engine cover (1)

Pull off engine cover
Note: The rubber
mountings (2) must remain on the engine cover

Detach fuel return line from damper housing

Detach from front fuel return line

Detach quick-release fitting with KM-796-A
|
| – |
seal off with Closure Plug KM-6320
|
|
| • |
Detach from damper housing
| – |
Detach quick-release fitting with KM-796-A
|
| – |
seal off with Closure Plug KM-6320
|
|
|
Install

Attach fuel return line to damper housing
| • |
Attach to front fuel return line
| – |
Remove closure plug KM-6320
|
| – |
Connect quick-release fitting
|
|
| • |
Attach to damper housing
| – |
Remove closure plug KM-6320
|

Connect quick-release fitting
