Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement - Fuel Rail to Fuel Injector

EN-6015 Closure Plugs

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Warning: Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning .

Warning: Refer to Safety Goggles and Fuel Warning .

1.	Open the hood.

2.	Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

3.	Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .

4.	Remove the 4 fuel injection fuel feed pipe nut M14 from the fuel rail (2).

5.	Remove the 4 fuel injection fuel feed pipe nut M12 from the 4 fuel injectors (3).

6.	Remove the 4 fuel injection fuel feed pipe (1).

7.	Close all connections with EN-6015 plugs .

Note: Loosen the fuel rail, in order spannings in the fuel pipes with installation to avoid.

1.	Loosen the 2 fuel rail bolts.

2.	Remove the EN-6015 plugs from all connections.

3.	Install 4 fuel injection fuel feed pipes (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution

4.	Install the 4 fuel injection fuel feed pipe nut M12 to the 4 fuel injectors (3) and tighten to 24 N·m (18 lb ft) .

5.	Install the 4 fuel injection fuel feed pipe nut M14 to the fuel rail (2) and tighten to 28 N·m (21 lb ft) .

6.	Tighten the 2 fuel rail bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft) .

7.	Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

8.	Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .

9.	Close the hood.
