Timing Chain Tensioner Shoe Replacement

EN-955-1 Locking Tool Timing Chain Tensioner

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

1.	Remove oil pump housing. Refer to Oil Pump Housing Replacement .

2.	Tension the timing chain tensioner in direction as shown (arrow).

3.	Fixing timing chain tensioner position with EN-955-1 locking tool (1).

4.	Remove timing chain tensioner shoe bolt (2).

5.	Remove timing chain tensioner shoe (1).

1.	Install timing chain tensioner shoe (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .

2.	Install timing chain tensioner shoe bolt (2) and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft) .

3.	Remove EN-955-1 locking tool (1) from timing chain tensioner.

4.	Install oil pump housing. Refer to Oil Pump Housing Replacement .
