Exhaust Manifold Assemble (1.7L Diesel LPL, LPV and LUB)

1.	Install the turbocharger oil return hose (5) and the clamp (6).

2.	Install the turbocharger oil feed pipe (3).

3.	Install the turbocharger oil feed pipe hollow screw (2). Use 2 NEW seal rings.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .

4.	Tighten the turbocharger oil feed pipe hollow screw to 21 N·m (15 lb ft) .

5.	Install the turbocharger to the exhaust manifold (1). Use a NEW gasket (7).

Note: Use NEW nuts.

6.	Install the 3 exhaust manifold nuts (4) and tighten in two passes:

6.1

First pass in sequence to 24 N·m (18 lb ft) .

6.2

Second pass in sequence to 48 N·m (35 lb ft) .
