Valve Lifter Replacement

EN-845 suction device

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

1.	Remove the camshafts. Refer to Camshaft Replacement .

Note: Mark the valve lifters to ensure they will be installed in the same position.

2.	Remove the 16 tappets (1), using the EN-845 device .

Note: Clean the valve lifters and the surrounding areas. Lubricate the valve lifters with engine oil.

1.	Install the 16 valve lifters (1)

2.	Install the camshafts. Refer to Camshaft Replacement .
