Valve Lifter Roller Installation

Note:  Used roller followers MUST be returned to their original position on the camshaft. If the camshaft is being replaced, the roller followers actuated by the camshaft must also be replaced.
1. Install the valve lifter roller (2) on the top of the valve stem and on the lash adjuster (1).
2. Lubricate the roller followers (2). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for the recommended lubricant.
