EN-46789   Camshaft Fixing Tool

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .


Note:  The exhaust camshaft is only replaceable for camshaft housing with plain bearings. To determine the type of the camshaft housing, refer to Camshaft Housing Replacement .

1. Install the exhaust camshaft (2).
2. Install the exhaust camshaft sealing ring (1).

3. Install the EN-46789   fixing tool .
4. Install the exhaust camshaft sprocket (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .
5. Install the NEW exhaust camshaft sprocket bolt (2) and tighten in 2 passes:
  5.1 First pass to 30 N·m (22 lb ft) .
  5.2 Second pass an additional 52° .
