Retrofitting wheel/tyre combinations

Vehicles may be fitted with other wheel/tyre combinations. If the wheel/tyre combination is not listed in the vehicle documents:

• an officially accredited expert or
• vehicle traffic examiner or
• a test engineer from an officially accredited monitoring organisation

should be enlisted immediately to carry out approval of the modification, after an expert report for the parts in question has been submitted.

The certificate with confirmation of correct incorporation or addition, and the restrictions or instructions to be observed, must be kept in the vehicle.
