Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front compartment insulator. Refer to . Front Compartment Insulator Replacement
2. Drain transmission fluid.
3. Disconnect the transmission fluid cooler hose from the radiator. Refer to . Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
4. Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer to . Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check

Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Nut

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose

Procedure

Discard the seals and install NEW prior to installation of the pipe.
