BRAKE SWITCH CIRCUIT

·   The fault is recognized if, with the ignition switched on (after completion of the switch-on test), a lead interruption is present for longer than 700 ms.

     (The signal voltage at the processor is cyclic analogue. If the signal is correct, only voltage levels in the range < 2 V and > 4 V occur. Voltages measured in the intermediate range are evaluated as a lead fracture).

 

On fault recognition, the ABS is switched off and the ABS telltale is switched on.
