FL SOL. VALVE

Press key F5 (Actuator Test), select the front left brake circuit using the arrow keys (FL. SOL. VALVE) and confirm with YES.

Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

 

Important:

The check must not be aborted. TECH 1 must not be disconnected before the end of the test. In this event, correct functioning of the brake system cannot be guaranteed. After the end of the check, the ignition must be switched OFF and ON again.

 

Note:

After the last check in this Actuator Test (PRESSURE DECREASE function) - after the check of the return pump - a display requests whether the wheel being checked can be turned.

Note:

 

Relative to previous requests, the wheel can only be turned at this point in the Actuator Test with more force than in previous checks. However, the wheel must not lock.

 

Note:

Control unit terminals for solenoid valve, front left:

ABS-2E:                     Ter. 2 and 20

ABS-2EH with ETC:             Intern.

ABS-2EH without ETC:        Intern.

ETC = Electronic Traction Control
