Servo Motor for Central Door Locking System, Replace

(Passenger Door and Rear Doors)

The servo motors in the passenger door and in the rear doors are of identical construction to the central door locking system switch.

For removal and installation of servo motors see operation "Switch for Central Door Locking System, Replace"

(Tailgate or luggage compartment lid)

Remove

Remove inner panelling on tailgate or cover cap on luggage compartment lid.

Unscrew servo motor.

Illus. shows servo motor in luggage compartment lid.

Pull servo motor from lock cylinder housing.

Release plug and pull off.

Remove motor.

Install

Analogously in reverse order.

Before installing, check rubber bearing for damage

and replace if necessary.
