Switch for Central Door Locking System,

Replace

The switch is in the identical position on the driver's door for left hand and right hand drive.

Remove

Remove inner door trim panelling.

Partly loosen water vapour barrier.

Unscrew switch from door shaft.

Pull plug from switch.

Disconnect control linkage.

Remove motor from door shaft.

Install

Analogously in reverse order.

Before installing, check rubber bearing for damage

and replace if necessary.

When pushing on plug, note installation position.

Wide side of plug must lie over wide recess in switch.
