Check tilt play of wheel bearing unit (vehicles
with drum brake)
 Remove
| 1. |
Remove rear wheel.

Mark position in respect of drum hub
|

| 2. |
Attach KM-468-B (2) or KM-6610 to drum hub with two wheel bolts (1)
|
| 3. |
Attach MKM-571-B (3) with magnetic
base (4) to rear axle
Note: Place probe of
MKM-571-B (arrow) to outer edge of the
circle of holes for the wheel bolts on the drum hub.

Check play by levering gently with KM-468-B or KM-6610

Max. permitted tilt play is 0.1
mm
Note: If this value is
exceeded, the wheel bearing must be replaced 
|

Install
| 5. |
Detach MKM-571-B with magnetic base
from rear axle
|
| 6. |
Detach KM-468-B or KM-6610 from drum hub
|
| 7. |
Attach rear wheel.
| • |
Tighten 4x wheel bolt 110 Nm
|
