Replace injection solenoid valve (Euro 5)
Warning: When
working on the LPG system, the multivalve shut-off valve must be
closed BY HAND. Work may only be performed by trained personnel.
Faulty installation can lead to fire or explosion, which is a
danger to life and limb.
Important: Observe
safety regulations for gas-driven vehicles (natural gas / Liquefied
Petroleum Gas LPG).
Remove

Disconnect battery

Detach earth connection

4. |
Separate gas line at gas line filter
• |
Detach gas line at gas line filter
Note: When opening the
clamp, drain the residual gas to atmosphere.

5. |
Undo injection module (1)
• |
Unscrew 2x screw (2)
Note: Carefully fold
the injection module forwards.
|
|
|
|
6. |
Detach retaining plate (2) for injector module
• |
Disconnect 4x wiring harness plugs
Note: Note the order of
the wiring harness plugs. The letters on the fuel distributor pipe
do not apply.

|
7. |
Remove injector solenoid valve (1) for injector module (2)
• |
Withdraw injector solenoid valve from injector module
Note: Withdraw injector
solenoid valve from injector module without using tools. Be careful
not to damage the injector module.

Install
8. |
Attach injector solenoid valve for injector module
• |
Install injector solenoid valve
Note: Press injector
solenoid valve into injector module without tools. Check for firm
seat and no damage to injector module.

9. |
Attach retaining plate
• |
Connect 4x wiring harness plug
Note: Connect wiring
harness plugs in order noted. The letters on the injector module do
not apply.

Install injector module
|

Connect gas line to gas line filter
• |
Connect gas line to gas line filter
|
• |
Attach clamp
Note: Replace
clamp.
|
|
13. |
Connect battery
• |
Attach earth connection
|
|
14. |
Program volatile memories
|
15. |
Carry out leak test and repair any leaks
|
