Stabiliser Swing Arm, Replace
Remove
Remove swing arm (2) from semi-trailing arm.
If present: Remove heat shield.
Detach swing arm from stabiliser using KM-507 (1). Insert suitable spacer between KM-507-C and stabiliser (arrow).
Inspect
Clean projection of stabiliser.
Install
Lightly coat projection of stabiliser (1) with silicone grease and push onto swing arm (2) by hand while turning.
Note installation position: projection (I) of stabiliser projection and swing arm approx. 8 mm.
Attach swing arm with heat shield (3, if present) to semi-trailing arm – tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
