Note: The toothed
belt tension roller (3) and toothed belt guide roller may only be
replaced as an assembly with base plate and toothed belt guide
roller (2).
 Remove
Removing toothed belt - see operations "Toothed Belt, Remove and
Install", and "Toothed Belt, Remove and Install (modified toothed
belt drive)".
Important: The
upper toothed belt guide roller must not be slackened in the
version with modified toothed belt drive.
Remove fastening bolts (1) and remove base plate with toothed
belt tension roller (3) and toothed belt guide roller (2) from
cylinder head.
Install
Attach base plate with toothed belt tension roller and toothed
belt guide roller to cylinder head – 40 Nm / 29.5 lbf.

Install toothed belt - see operations "Toothed Belt, Remove and
Install" and "Toothed Belt, Remove and Install (modified toothed
belt drive)".
