· On ignition "ON", the fault
is recognised after a maximum of 30 s
· After the engine is started, the fault
is recognised after a maximum of 5 min. The time depends on the calculation
time required by the microprocessor. For example, at full load and when the
priority for calculation of the check sum is low, it can take up to 5
minutes.
· Replace control unit
Effects:
· Solenoid valves (brake band,
1-2/3-4 shift, 2-3 shift, torque converter clutch) and electro-hydraulic
pressure regulator are switched off
· On fault recognition, the
following individual gears can still be shifted manually (emergency program):
