Trouble Code Table - Trouble Code 10 VARIANT-CODINGE NOT PROGRAMMED > < Table 1, Diagnostic Plug (XD) and Voltage Supply, Check

Table 2, Trouble Code Table

Note:

If three or more trouble codes are stored at the same time, this indicates that the control unit has inadequate ground contact. Therefore, check all ground connections from the control unit to the battery.

Before checking the data list, always ensure that the correct engine variant is programmed in the transmission control unit. Some trouble codes may be set if, for example, the transmission control unit for an X 30 XE engine is programmed for the X 25 XE engine.

The shift characteristics resulting from this can overload the transmission and thus cause transmission malfunctions.

If the fault POWER CONTROL RELAY VOLTAGE LOW is set and trouble codes 17, 18, 29 and/or 35 have the status TC NOT PRESENT, first search for the fault in the relevant solenoid valve.
