Table 1, Diagnostic Plug (XD) and Voltage Supply, Check
TECH 1 refers to table 1 if the unit is correctly connected
but data cannot be received from the control unit.
In this case, perform the following tests.
Carry out TECH 1 self-test as described in the TECH 1
Operating Instructions.
Important: TECH 1 must be connected to the battery
with the battery connection cable for this test.
Carry out check of DLC adapter used as described in the TECH
1 Operating Instructions.
If data still cannot be received after the self-test, check
the
Diagnostic plug (XD) and voltage supply of the control unit
according to table 1.
After completing the check, proceed with section 5.7.1.
