Note: Old (702) and

 Remove
|
Remove centre support from transmission – see operation
"Assemblies, Remove and Install".
Disassemble
Remove overrun shut-off valve. Press on plug (arrow) and remove
pin (1) (retaining plate – new version) with magnetic lifter.
Remove spring (2) and overrun shut-off valve (3). Assist with a
plastic drift if necessary.

Remove reverse gear shut-off valve. Remove plug (arrow), pin (1)
(retaining plate – new version), spring (2) and reverse gear
shut-off valve (3) in the same way as overrun shut-off valve.
Inspect
Check centre support and valves for damage and wear, replace if
necessary.

Assemble
|
Install overrun shut-off valve (the longer of the two valves).
Place in the bore (arrow) in the sequence shown, press in the plug
(1) and lock with pin (2) (retaining plate – new version).
Large diameter of plug points outwards. Bore in centre support
points past the component centre.

|
Install reverse gear shut-off valve. Place in the bore (arrow)
in the sequence shown, press in the plug (1) and lock with pin (2)
(retaining plate – new version). Large diameter of plug
points outwards. Bore in centre support points to the component
centre.
Install
Install centre support in transmission – see operation
"Assemblies, Remove and Install".
