Fuel Filter Housing, Replace (25 DT, X 25 DT)

Caution
Fuel escapes – observe safety measures and national
legislation.
 Remove
Open bonnet, disconnect battery
Remove wiring harness plugs (1) and (4).
Detach fuel lines (3) from fuel filter housing.
Remove fastening bolts (2) – remove fuel filter
housing.
When replacing the fuel filter: Transfer all attaching
parts.

Install
Attach fuel filter housing to bracket – tightening torque
25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft.
Attach fuel lines with new seal rings – tightening torque
15 Nm / 11 lbf. ft.
Connect wiring harness plug to temperature switch.
Connect wiring harness plug to fuel pre-heater.
Bleed fuel system – see operation "Fuel System, Bleed (25
DT, X 25 DT)".
Connect battery and program volatile memories - see operation
"Volatile Memories, Program"
