ERASE KEYS

Only vehicles with infrared remote control:

Possible Trouble Codes: 14

 

Note:

This TECH 1 function is used to delete all key infrared transmitters which are programmed into the central door locking control unit, i. e. thereafter all key infrared transmitters will not function.

The two key infrared transmitters for the vehicle / central door locking system supplied to the customer by the manufacturer must then be reprogrammed as specified in section 6.3.4.2. For this, both key infrared transmitters must be on hand.

 

Ignition ON

 

Press key F7 in the main menu, select the desired test using the arrow keys and confirm with YES. Follow the instructions in the TECH 1 display.

 

If the display on the right appears after programming is completed, the key infrared transmitters have been successfully deleted.

KEYS ERASING

PROCEDURE

COMPLETED!

 

Otherwise, a fault occurred during programming. Perform the following actions consecutively:

·    Read trouble code;

·    Perform Quick Check F0: DATA LIST;

·    Perform Quick Check F5: ACTUATOR TEST;

·    Reprogram;

·    Perform TECH 1 self - test;

·    Check TECH 1 cable for damaged insulation and shielding;

·    Reprogram using new control unit;
