Engine Oil with Oil Filter Change (X 16 XEL, Y 16 XE, Z 16 XE)  

Notice: 

Illustration F 4021 shows X 16 XEL.  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove oil drain bolt - collect escaping engine oil.   Remove oil filter with KM-726-A (1) - collect escaping engine oil.     Install, Connect    Coat seal ring of new oil filter lightly with engine oil and attach to cylinder block - tightening torque 15 Nm / 11 lbf. ft.   Attach oil drain bolt to oil pan:   with rubber seal ring - tightening torque 10 Nm / 7 lbf. ft.   with metal seal ring - tightening torque 45 Nm / 33 lbf. ft.   Top up engine oil.     Inspect    Check engine oil level and fill engine oil up to "MAX" mark on oil dipstick. Start engine and allow to run until oil pressure telltale is extinguished. Check engine oil level again and correct.
