Remove oil pump - see operation "Oil Pump, Remove and Install". Remove oil pump cover and safety valve from oil pump.
 Inspect Check indentation of gear pair with feeler gauge and straight edge - for dimension see "Technical Data". Check oil pump, oil pump cover and safety valve for signs of wear, replace if necessary.
 Install, Connect Attach oil pump cover to oil pump - tightening torque 6 Nm / 4 lbf. ft. Attach closure bolt of safety valve with new seal ring to oil pump - tightening torque 30 Nm / 22 lbf. ft. Install oil pump (1) - see operation "Oil Pump, Remove and Install". | 
Remove, Disconnect
