Bypass Valve, Replace  

Object Number: 616191 Size: DEFAULT  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove oil filter with KM-726-A (1) - collect escaping engine oil.  

Using tap (2) (M10 3rd stage) cut thread in locking washer, screw in M10 bolt and remove bypass valve from seat.  

Object Number: 616192 Size: DEFAULT  Install, Connect   

Bypass valve - using drift ( Ø approx. 15 mm) drive in up to stop.  

Coat seal ring of new oil filter lightly with engine oil and attach oil filter to oil pump - tightening torque 15 Nm / 11 lbf. ft.  

Check engine oil level and fill engine oil up to "MAX" mark on oil dipstick. Start engine and allow to run until oil pressure telltale is extinguished. Check engine oil level again and correct.
