Separate wiring harness plug (1) for fluid temperature sensor. Free wiring harness plug downwards. Illus. shows vehicle with removed battery. Remove cover plate from side cover and transmission (2). Remove fluid temperature sensor (arrow), replace seal ring.
 Tighten (Torque) Fluid temperature sensor to transmission - 10 Nm / 7 lbf. ft. Cover plate to side cover and transmission - 25 Nm / 18 lbf. ft. Connect wiring harness plug for fluid temperature sensor.
 Inspect Check transmission fluid level and correct if necessary - see operation "Transmission Fluid Level, Check and Correct". | 
Remove, Disconnect
