Note:
All above materials are available from Plascon Agents.
Process sequence

‒ Remove dust by wiping or blowing with compressed air.

‒ Hexane (Benzine) wipe bumper to ensure surface is free of any release agent, grease or dirt.
-
‒ Apply a uniform wet coat of adhesion promoter 864 Polypropylene primer to entire bumper.
-
‒ Flash off for 5 minutes.
Note:
Do not flat the adhesion promoter.
2 K Topcoat Application
-
‒ Apply a mist coat followed by a medium wet coat of paint to entire bumper.

‒ Flash off for 3 minutes.
-
‒ Apply another two medium wet coats of paint to entire bumper.
-
‒ Flash off for 5 minutes.
-
‒ Bake for 30 minutes at 60 C or airdry for 24 hours.
